Business / Agriculture / Food Development

In a complex global economy, it is more important than ever to add value to inherent and intrinsic resources. In an increasingly monocultural world, it is that which makes an economy different and unique which makes it more noticeable, more marketable and thus more competitive. The narrowness of the economy of North West Wales represents a major weakness, and hastens the urgent need for creativity in order to fuel greater diversity.

Menter Môn has consistently placed an emphasis on adding value to the islands abundant resources within the business, food and agricultural sectors. In delivering the EU’s Leader programme, we have been able to persue creative and enterpising projects which would not have been possible through mainstream funding sources. This has enabled the island to establish a reputation for innovation and improve confidence within the private sector.
