Menter M\u00f4n is proud to announce, that they are the main sponsors of the Anglesey Show 2022, after two challenging years for the Show due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n
With the help of Menter M\u00f4n, with money from the LEADER programme, the Show has been able to experiment with new ideas for the first time on how to develop the Show. Through the partnership with Menter M\u00f4n, the Show has developed a brand new entertainment area for 2022, Y Cowt. Where there will be activities for all the family, live music and a feast of local produce, with bands performing until 8pm on Tuesday night, with a bar closing at 8:30pm.<\/p>\n
Dafydd Gruffydd, Managing Director of Menter M\u00f4n, said: “We (Menter M\u00f4n) were very keen to support Sioe M\u00f4n as they held the Show for the first time in three years. This year was the perfect opportunity to be able to try new things and it is important that the Show can experiment with new activities as the Show returns after the pandemic, and as a result we are proud to have been able to support the Show to be able to develop Y Cowt.”<\/p>\n
Jackie Lewis, Menter M\u00f4n Senior Project Officer, added:<\/p>\n
“The idea behind Y Cowt is to encourage attendees to spend more time on the showground, like in the Eisteddfod. In addition to the entertainment area, Menter M\u00f4n has again this year sponsored the Food Hall at the Show this year, with the aim of promoting local food and drink, and supporting the food producers of M\u00f4n.”<\/p>\n
John Jones, President of the Anglesey Agricultural Association said: “We as an Association are extremely proud that the Anglesey Show is back this year, with a number of new attractions on the showground. Our partnership with Menter M\u00f4n is exciting, in order to be able to offer a platform to local producers in the Food Hall as well as offer a feast of entertainment for the whole family in Y Cowt. We are looking forward to seeing excitement and buzz on the showground once again.”<\/p>\n
