We are celebrating three decades of making a difference and delivering on distinction across north Wales and beyond.<\/span><\/p>\n

From re-establishing the red squirrel on Anglesey to developing Wales’ first tidal energy scheme, supporting thousands of businesses, promoting the Welsh language and empowering communities through various projects – our social enterprise has played an important role in the community and economic development of the region since 1995.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On 16 October our partners, a representation of staff members and supporters came together in the Town Hall, Llangefni to celebrate 30 years of innovative activity.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>The evening was full of memories, inspiring stories, and celebrations of the positive impact we have had on communities and businesses throughout Anglesey and beyond. Elin Fflur hosted and led the evening. Dafydd Gruffydd and Gerallt Llewelyn, former Managing Director of Menter M\u00f4n were interviewed by Elin Fflur in a conversation during the intimate event with a tone and inspired by Sgwrs Dan y Loer on S4C.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dafydd Gruffydd, our Managing Director here at Menter M\u00f4n, said:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

“It was a proud moment to have the opportunity to celebrate successes and reflect over the past decades at the celebration in the Llangefni Town Hall, in the center of the island.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“We usually have our heads down, trying to secure and implement the projects and different areas of work to be able to continue to employ local people in Anglesey, Gwynedd and beyond, promote the local economy, strengthen communities as well as develop green energy.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“We took a step back during this very special night. It was an opportunity to look back on the journey so far, and to celebrate with the people and organisations who have been part of our story and contributed to who we are today. We are extremely proud of what we have achieved, very grateful for the collaboration with our partners and look forward to the future.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The audience got to watch the first screening of a film about the history of the company called Ein Hanes Ni<\/strong>. The film was an opportunity for individuals to share memories of Menter M\u00f4n over the past thirty years.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
