The Chinese delegation included a pioneer and a leader of the tidal energy sector in China \u2013\u00a0\u00a0Lin Dong, the Chief Engineer of LHD New Energy Corporation , who travelled from China to visit the Morlais development.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">LHD New Energy Corporation is leading the development of the tidal energy field in China. And their project in Xiushan is one of the most advanced in the world and has <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">achieved more than 60 months of continuous operation.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Mr Lin had the opportunity to visit the Morlais development, sharing good practice and discussing tidal energy with our Team.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">John Idris Jones, Chair\u00a0of\u00a0Menter M\u00f4n Morlais Ltd said:<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cWe were delighted to welcome Mr Lin and\u00a0<\/span>his <span data-contrast=\"auto\">colleagues\u00a0and representatives\u00a0from Welsh Government<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">to the our substation and to have the opportunity to share our progress and future plans. Learning from projects that have already achieved long-term success helps strengthen our own ambitions for Ynys M\u00f4n.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The visit\u00a0provided\u00a0an opportunity to share an overview of the Morlais tidal energy scheme, discuss pathways for developers, and explore opportunities within the local supply chain. It was also a valuable chance to learn more about LHD\u2019s tidal\u00a0demonstration project and exchange\u00a0knowledge and\u00a0expertise\u00a0on global marine energy innovation.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Menter M\u00f4n and Morlais are proud of the way we create connections, work with others,\u00a0and\u00a0\u00a0share\u00a0good practice for the good of the environment and economy.
