This is part of the UK&#8217;s commitment to UNESCO&#8217;s 2003 Living Cultural Heritage Plan.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Living heritage refers to the customs, skills, crafts,\u00a0celebrations\u00a0and rituals that are passed down from generation to generation. These are not just things in a museum, but practices that are still alive and continue to develop within our communities.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Background\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In 2024, the United Kingdom joined other countries in supporting this Convention, and we are proud to be part of contributing to the official lists of living heritage across the country.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Which Anglesey traditions would you like us to include?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Anglesey has a wealth of unique and inspiring traditions, and we are keen to ensure that they get the recognition they deserve.
