Four new projects will form this new department: Tech Tyfu, Gwlad y Gwlan, Neges@Home and M\u00f4n Larder.<\/p>\n<p>So what is the purpose of establishing this new department? The importance of this department will be to ensure that these projects co-work to make the most of the unique values that exist here in rural Wales.<\/p>\n<p>Dafydd Gruffydd, Managing Director at Menter M\u00f4n says: \u201cCollaboration equals innovation, and our strapline \u2018delivering on distinction\u2019 means that all Menter M\u00f4n projects contribute and add value to each other and the value of what makes us different here in Wales.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/L1wzV7Tz0rM\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tech Tyfu<\/strong> is a project that been encouraging growers and farmers to find innovative ways to grow crops without soil. The Agri Food Department will ensure that this low carbon approach to agriculture contributes to the environment of rural communities as well as conrtibuting to the economy.<\/p>\n<p>The main objective of <strong>Neges@Home <\/strong>will be to provide food packages for visitors staying in self catering accomodation. These packages will intergrate all projects together by supplying Tech Tyfu products as well as Menter M\u00f4n\u2019s other project, <strong>M<\/strong><strong>\u00f4<\/strong><strong>n Larder<\/strong> \u2013 a local food and drink hub.<\/p>\n<p>Elen Hughes, Chief Executive of Menter Iaith M\u00f4n, feels that it would be \u201ca natural step to intergrate language and culture into these food packages to raise visitors\u2019 awareness of our culture here in North Wales.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this, Neges@Home will be using wool, through the <strong>Gwlad y Gwlan <\/strong>scheme to keep the temperature levels of the packages constant! So what is Gwlad y Gwlan? It is a national scheme run by Menter M\u00f4n, with the aim of developing wool innovation in Wales. The plan hopes to counter the disadvantages of Covid-19 and Brexit on the agricultural community.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the establishment of this brand new, innovative department, Menter M\u00f4n now require an enthusiatic director to lead the department. We are looking for an Agri Food Director to join the company, who will be responsible for this exciting and innovative Rural Wales portfolio.
