Agri Bank<\/h2>\n

Covid-19 is a threat to the farming industry here on Anglesey and Gwynedd, which are vital to sustain our communities.<\/p>\n

Because of the crisis, we have set up an \u2018Agricultural Bank\u2019 to help farmers on Anglesey and Gwynedd to recieve support if they become ill with COVID-19.<\/p>\n

Want to offer help?<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you have an agricultural skill and are in a position to be able to offer assistance, please register by stating your details on the form below.<\/p>\n

If you receive a request to help on a farm, we will contact you with further details.<\/p>\n

You will then need to contact the farmer to discuss and agree the work that needs to be done, and to receive further instructions.<\/p>\n

We shall contact a volunteer that has registered on our database. We shall try to ensure that the person is local to your farm, and possesses the skills you require to fulfil the work. Once you have been paired with a volunteer, we shall contact you with their details.<\/p>\n

The volunteer shall contact you for further information and guidance on what is required;<\/p>\n

You (the farmer) need to ensure the following:
\n– ONLY ask that the most basic and important work is done.
\n– You shall have telephone conversation \u2013 NO face-to-face interaction!
\n– Explain clearly the work that needs to be done, and highlight the locations of keys, taps, medicines and any other implement or tool needed to complete the work.
\n– Agree with the volunteer how many days you require them to work on the farm as some tasks such as feeding the animals are repetitive.<\/p>\n

**It is IMPORTANT and a LEGAL requirement that you have current and valid insurance \u2013 \u201cEmployers Liability Insurance\u201d, and \u201cPublic Liability Insurance\u201d. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure that these are in place.**<\/p>\n
