We provide a variety of opportunities to volunteer as part of the Menai Rivers Biodiversity Project. Here’s a short video case study which provides a summary of the project, and an interview with Robert one of our volunteers. Robert is a local 16 year old using the opportunity to work as a river custodian to contribute towards his Duke of Edinburgh Award. We currently have a total of 12 volunteers recruited to date, all working as river custodians monitoring our wildlife rafts and ensuring Anglesey & Gwynedd remain a refuge for protected species. We hope to encourage more volunteers to carry out similar voluntary work throughout the project.
