We are proud to have signed an updated trade union recognition agreement with Prospect, marking an important milestone in our commitment to positive employment relations and staff engagement as well as working in partnership.
The agreement reconfirms Prospect as the trade union representing staff and establishes a clear framework for constructive and transparent dialogue between employees and senior management. It provides a consistent way for discussions to take place on workplace matters such as pay, terms and conditions, and working practices, ensuring employee views are heard and considered as part of organisational decision‑making.
Dafydd Gruffydd, Managing Director of Menter Môn, said:
“This agreement demonstrates our commitment to being a fair and supportive employer. We have always had a positive working relationship with Prospect and believe it’s important to have space for two-way conversations with our employees.
“Recognising Prospect strengthens how we work with our workforce, supports open and constructive communication, and reflects our belief that mutual respect and partnership are essential to creating a positive working environment.”
Emma Grottan, Negotiations Executive from Prospect welcomed the agreement, describing it as a positive step that shows Menter Môn values its staff and is committed to constructive engagement. She said:
“Prospect looks forward to continuing to work in partnership with Menter Môn to support good employment practices, staff wellbeing and a strong workplace culture that benefits both employees and the organisation.”
We look forward to developing a strong and constructive partnership with Prospect that supports its people and contributes to the organisation’s wider social and economic objectives across the communities it serves.
