Welcome to Theatr Ieuenctid Môn – Anglesey Youth Theatre!

Theater can transport us anywhere, bringing characters and places to life with words and imagination.

Theatr Ieuenctid Môn has encouraged and supported Anglesey’s children and young people in many aspects of the world of theater since its establishment in 2000. Our weekly workshops are led by a team of enthusiastic and experienced tutors, and over the years hundreds of members have taken advantage of this unique opportunity to develop new skills and make friends.

Our current structure enables our members to experience many different things, from regular weekly sessions, to specialist classes and workshops, and further to experience professional opportunities with other local companies and projects. This can open doors to casting opportunities for television, theatre, film and radio work. We work annually towards the Llangefni Little Theatre’s Christmas pantomime, and fill the year with various experiences based on the interests of our members. Our aim is to present many different aspects of theater and drama, following traditional methods of creating plays, as well as more inventive co-creation processes.

Our sessions are held through the medium of Welsh, and through this we provide natural opportunities for our members to use their Welsh in an informal and fun setting. It is essential that our members see the Welsh language as a language that opens doors for them in a unique part of the world.

Details of the weekly TIM Bach (Primary Age) workshops:

TIM Bach sessions are held at Theatr Fach Llangefni on Wednesday evenings between 6-7:30pm.

Details of weekly TIM Mawr workshops (Secondary Age):

TIM Mawr sessions are held in Theatr Fach Llangefni on Tuesday evenings between 6:30-8pm.
