Apply for up to £4,999 for your food related activity or event.
Established in 2023, the Ynys Môn Food Partnership is a Welsh Government–funded initiative bringing people together to help build a stronger, fairer and more sustainable food system on Ynys Môn. Our aim is to reduce food miles, improve access to healthy and affordable food for everyone, and give communities the skills and confidence to grow, buy and cook nutritious local produce while understanding the many benefits of doing so.
The Ynys Môn Food Partnership Grant supports individuals, groups, and organisations with projects or creative ideas that reflect the aims of the Ynys Môn and Gwynedd Food Charter. The grant is delivered by Menter Môn. We’re welcoming applications for food-related events or activities taking place before 11/12/2026.
Community groups, charities, schools, local authority teams, organisations and businesses on Ynys Môn can apply. If your event or activity helps bring people together through nutritious food, we’d love to hear from you.
Funding is limited, please apply by 31/03/2026. We’ll aim to get back to you within 14 working days of receiving your application.
We’re looking to fund work that helps to:

• Encourage sustainable food production
• Strengthen partnerships and bring communities together
• Support and grow the local economy
We encourage you to take a look at the Gwynedd & Ynys Môn Food Charter’s goal and vision.

• Get people involved in growing, cooking, and sharing healthy food.
• Use local food and businesses whenever possible to keep food miles low.
• Make your project open to the wider community so more people can join.
What the grant can be used for
